About C&S Automotive
C&S Automotive is a legacy built over multiple generations of mechanics. Chris has been a professional mechanic for over 20 years but has worked on cars for as long as he can remember. Starting with his grandfather who serviced planes and Jets in Vietnam, Chris has carried on the same passion in his own shop. Working alongside his wife and business partner, Stephanie, C&S automotive strives to be a family-oriented shop that builds community.
Meet C&S Automotive’s Owners
Stephanie Engelbrecht
Owner & Office Manager
Stephanie is one of the owners here at C&S Performance and the Office Manager. She was born in Southern Idaho but has lived in Northern Idaho most of her life. She has been around cars and hanging out in the shop since she was a kid, so she has general knowledge about vehicle repair, and has what it takes to keep the guys at the shop - and at home - in line. She is also a paralegal for a local law firm in Coeur d'Alene and has a small floral business. There isn't anything about Idaho she doesn't love, so you'll find her boating, running, camping, reading, riding around in the side-by-side, jeeping, or really just trying not to get into trouble. She helps keep the shop flowing smoothly and does all the behind-the-scenes work, so if you get to see her at the shop, be sure to say hello!
Chris Engelbrecht
Owner & Lead Technician
Chris is one of the owners here at C&S Performance. He was born in Germany, with his family being in the military, but soon after moved to Idaho and has lived in Northern Idaho since. He has been working on cars since he was old enough to drive, which is about 25 years. He is married to the Office Manager/Co-Owner, has three teenage sons, and has a loyal dog named Moose. When he's not working or chasing his wife and kids around, you'll find him in the woods camping, having fun on the side by side, Jeeping, or boating. You'll often find him working on one of his many custom vehicles, making it faster, louder, taller, shorter, or really changing anything about it that makes it standard. He's at the shop every day, so come by and say hi!

Jana Yeager
Service Writer/Administrative Staff
Jana joined the team at C&S Automotive bringing with her a wealth of experience in customer service and administration. Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, she’s called Spirit Lake, Idaho, home for the past seven years. While she’s new to the automotive world, she’s not new to providing excellent service. With over 24 years of experience as an office manager, logistics manager, and safety compliance instructor, Jana is well-versed in coordinating with clients to ensure their needs are met efficiently. Her primary goal is to make your experience at C&S Automotive as smooth and positive as possible.
Outside of work, Jana is a proud wife to Therrin of 20 years and a mom to two sons, Tyler and Josh. Whether it’s spending quality time with her husband and father, behind the sewing machine with her mom, or cheering on Josh at a track meet, family is at the heart of everything she does. In her free time, she enjoys reconnecting with nature through hiking, camping, and reading a good book. Jana also dedicates some of her time to teaching CPR and First Aid when she can.

Jason Robertson
Automotive Technician
Jason is a highly skilled automotive technician with over 15 years of experience in the industry and a Master Certified Technician. Jason has developed strong diagnostic expertise, focusing on electrical systems. Known for precision and problem-solving abilities, he takes pride in delivering top-tier service and solutions for cars and trucks. Driven by a deep passion for the automotive field, Jason continuously stays ahead of industry advancements to provide the highest level of technical excellence. He is an integral part to what we do here at C&S Automotive.
