C&S Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Rathdrum, Idaho.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and highly motivated Automotive Technician who takes pride in doing excellent work and being a great teammate. The ideal candidate is dependable, teachable, positive, and comfortable communicating clearly with both our service team and customers.

Technical Skills

The right candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience

  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical knowledge

  • Experience repairing a wide range of vehicles and systems

  • The ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical service bulletins

  • Their own tools

  • A valid driver’s license

  • ASE certification is a plus, but not required

About the Paid 30-Day Trial

We believe in setting everyone up for success.

All new technicians begin with a paid 30-day trial period. This is not a test — it is a mutual evaluation. We want to make sure you enjoy working with us as much as we enjoy having you on the team.

At the end of the 30 days, we will sit down together and have an open conversation about the fit, the role, and the best path forward.

Finalists may also be asked to complete a short strengths assessment as part of our hiring process. This helps us better understand how to support each new team member and set them up for success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 5+ years of automotive repair experience required

  • 5+ years of mechanical knowledge required

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must be able to commute to Rathdrum, Idaho

  • Must be able to work in person
